Greater Lafayette residents can learn more about bariatric surgery at two special informational sessions at
St. Elizabeth's Regional Health in Lafayette.
Topics for the program include:
- Gastric bypass, gastric sleeve and Lap-Band surgeries for losing weight
- How losing weight improves your health and reduces your risk factors for cancers, heart disease and more.
- Is surgery right for you
- The insurance approval process for bariatric surgery
- Life after bariatric surgery
The programs will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, in the Kathryn Weil Center. Attendance is free, but registration is recommended. Call (765) 449-5133 Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm., or
